Cisco’s IOT challenge

Last week Cisco launched their “Cisco Security Grand Challenge”. Ignoring that the person to solve it could (possibly) earn more than $75,000 by keeping to solution to themselves; it’s good to see industry heavyweights like Cisco acknowledge that the current offerings just aren’t complete.

The competition challenges people to write a four to six page proposal of how a IoT (Internet of Things) system could be setup to withstand malware and hacking attacks, as well as guarantee privacy and manage access to your data.
